now days Ethiopia is old beyond imagination!
Abyssinia's culture and traditions date back more than 3.000 years!
The remains of 'Lucy', the oldest
humanoid ever discovered, were found in a corner of this country
of mystery and contrasts! Ethiopia is a land of extremes, a land
of remote and wild places! Simien mountains, are the highest, most
rugged and inaccessible places on the African continent offering
landscapes close to Grand Canyon! Some of the lowest places such as the
fascinating and at parts forbidding Danakil depression are found here
too! History is intriguing too.
An Ethiopian queen, Queen of Sheba, traveled all the way to Jerusalem to
meet King Solomon! |
